Have to omit the nuts/ coconut and tweak to my own suitability because of nuts allergies & coconut sensitivity... but these did look yummy, If I make, I 'll tweak your recipe to suit my needs regarding allergies ...

With this batter recipe can you add raisins?

Mmm, so good! And irresistible like a Snicker bar ...the whole batch disappeared fast! I used fine rice flakes instead of coconut, and it works. I also totally get why you like to eat it warm, with all that wonderful comfort of melted chocolate inside. I was also dreaming of adding a scoop of cold vanilla ice cream on top to make it a Magic Sundae! Thank you very much.

Can i use salted butter. I really dont feel like going to the store!

Dont see much point in making a small batch. It wastes a large part of a can of sweetened condensed milk, and takes just as long to assemble and bake. I make these all the time, and as they do freeze extremely well, i can have one anytime, without having to go to the trouble of making another small batch.

1. Graham cracker crumbs; 2. Butter; 3. Chocolate chips; 4. Butterscotch chips; 5. Coconut; 6. Nuts; 7. Sweetened condensed milk. That's how we counted them when I was a kid. One of these days I'll make them with peanuts instead of pecans.

This was SO easy and really great!

Yummy! I have that same little food processor, and it works great. Had it for years now!

I figured the layers were 1 Graham cracker crust w/ 2 butter 3 chocolate chips 4 butterscotch chips 5 coconut 6 walnuts 7 sweetened condensed milk No particular order except the crust

I add butterscotch chips also and then count the butter for 7 layers. A favorite, so happy to get a recipe for small batch.

I made these, turned out wonderful. Easy to do too.

When I was a youngster, my grandmother's one friend would make these for me as a birthday present. Now I make them, and they are still a favorite of mine.

I live alone kids have all left..so if i make some cake mix. Uness i try and cut the cake recipe in half...its too much and goes bad.

Just made used no bake stroopwaffke for graham cracker crust, used unsweetened coconut and sweetened condensed coconut milk. Yummy ty

As always a great small batch recipe. Any suggestions for what to do with the leftover sweetened condensed milk?

Made these in jr high home ec class in the 60’s still have the recipe on good old memory graft paper. Remember when something was printed out how the paper smelled 😊

We add chopped up glacé cherries (red or green or both), different chocolate chips, coconut, and lastly the sweetened condensed milk. No nuts due to allergies in our home.

When we made them we’d melt the butter in the pan in the oven while it warmed, which made this a ZERO bowl dessert. Our 7 layers were crust, chocolate chips, pecans, coconut, butterscotch chips, Heath Bar chips, and then drizzle the condensed milk on top for the 7th layer.

Years ago we used to make a cake called lazy daisy oatmeal cake, it had a brown sugar coconut butter mix you put on top when the cake was done and then broiled it for a little bit. No one in the family still has the recipe. Thanks for sharing this bar, they were a favorite.

Oh my! Someone else who doesn't like nuts in baked goods! I LOVE almost all nuts, but I can't abide them in cookies and things like banana bread. 🤢
